Former Streamwood Park District Commissioner Rich Janiec was presented with a plaque during the Aug. 22 Board of Commissioners meeting for his 16 years of service to the District. It was also announced that a copy of the plaque will be placed on the gazebo in Commissioners’ Park, 81 Linda Lane, and the gazebo will soon be renamed the “Richard Janiec Gazebo.”
Congratulations to former Commissioner Janiec for this honor and for all his accomplishments during his tenure with the Streamwood Park District.
